With over 500 varieties of daylilies onsite, and up to 200 different varieties blooming at once, our field beds are a rainbow of colour from early June through mid-September. The best time to find a variety that blooms during a specific time in your garden is to visit us when you see a "gap" in your garden that needs to be filled. |
| Daylilies Strong & Striking Over 600 varieties and counting! |
We can offer you 50 varieties of daylilies from $5.00 per pot (wonderful standards like Stella D'oro), but we also have some of the newest breeding stock, some of which sell for hundreds of dollars for a single fan (stem). We have diploids and tetraploids, singles, doubles, spiders, polytepals, and UFOs (unusual forms). |
If you're looking for something truly unique -- something you can really call your own -- you should stroll through our "clutch" beds until you see a daylily that strikes your eye or calls your name. These clutches are planted from seed, every one of which is genetically unique, and no two of which are exactly the same. |

Daylilies have coarse, grass-like foliage and when ready to bloom push long scapes (spikes) , covered with flower buds, above the leaves to burst into bloom. Each daylily will push multiple scapes over its blooming season, with some plants pushing dozens of scapes and literally hundreds of blooms, each of which lasts a single day. The blooming season for individual plants can vary from two weeks to three months depending on the variety. |
